Suzanne Lewis, a resident of New Mexico since 1950, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2000, at the age of 59. Suzanne is survived by her husband, Larry Lewis; parents, Howard and Lovola Burgess; sister, Patricia Kerr; nieces, Julie Sturgeon of Littleton, CO and Mrs. Mike Burita of Alexandria, VA. Suzanne was born on January 28, 1941, in Des Moines, IA. She graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque and received a Bachelor's degree and Law degree from the University of New Mexico. She worked for Sandia Labs and spent 17 years as an assistant State Attorney General in Santa Fe. For the past several years, she was employed at the University of New Mexico. She was an active member of Hoffmantown Church. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
