Helen Spencer, 79, resident of Albuquerque since 1944, passed away Monday, October 2, 2000. Helen was born in the Gallup area. She is survived by her brother, Albert Spencer; her sister, JoAnn Johns; and many loving relatives. Helen was a seamstress and tailor to many of Albuquerque's prestigious establishments and citizens for over half a century. She was always an interested and loyal fan of the Lobos. A Memorial Mass will be said on Saturday, October 7, 9:30 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1818 Coal Place SE. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the church is appreciated.
