In loving memory of Jennie F. Murda, 85, and Frank B. Murda, 85, longtime residents of Rio Rancho, were called home to be with Our Lord. Jennie passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2000. Jennie was born June 26, 1914, the daughter of Dominic and Artemisio Malone Fosco in Charleston, West Virginia. Frank B. Murda was called to be with Our Lord on Tuesday, March 14, 2000. Frank was born September 8, 1914, the son of Joseph and Elisabeth Rosatti Murda in Chicago, Illinois. They were preceded in death by a grandson, Johnny Fairchild. They are survived by two loving daughters, Patricia Gawel and husband, Gerald of Albuquerque, Jeanine Tamble and husband, Jim of Illinois; three grandchildren, Kevin Gawel and wife, Doreen, Kim Fairchild and Kenneth Gawel; four great-grandchildren, Michael Gawel, Pamela Fairchild, Brittany Gawel and Kelli Gawel; Jennie's two brothers, William Fosco and wife, Ina, and Albert Fosco; Frank's sister, Stella Bellissimo; niece and nephews, Katie, Frank and Tommy Bellissimo, as well as numerous relatives and friends. Frank and Jennie were deeply caring, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, and great-grandparents, and will be deeply missed by all who's lives they touched. Their family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff at Sandia Hospice. The visitation for Frank and Jennie will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2000, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with the service on Friday, March 17, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Entombment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Kevin Gawel, Michael Gawel, Dave Whillans, Steve Montoya, Jeff Fairchild, and Terry Story. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Sandia Hospice, 4725 Indian School Rd. NE, Suite 100, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
