Hugh R. Merritt, 63, a resident of Albuquerque for nine years, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Marsha J. Merritt of Albuquerque; son, Michael Merritt of Albuquerque; sister, Holly Antosz of Chandler, AZ; aunt, Betty J. White of Oklahoma City, OK; and niece, Lynn Fantle and husband, Barry of Maryland. He was active in the Insurance Industry and most recently Charter Insurance Company. Mr. Merritt was a member of the Lions Club in Illinois. Rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Service will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Foundation, 525 San Pedro NE, #101, 87108. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
