Samuel Burt, 95, a resident of Albuquerque since 1945, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Alice Mabel Johnson and husband, Johnny of Powtukett, RI; grandchildren, Karen Caldwell, Cheryl Jordan, and Susan Froment; great-grandchildren, Jessica Jordan, Laura Caldwell, Brent Caldwell, and Jamie Froment; and brothers, Arthur, Robert, and Donald. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Exzina Burt in 1996. Mr. Burt was a member of Los Altos Church of the Nazarene and was treasurer for eight of those years. Mr. Burt was proud of his perfect Sunday School attendance and proudly displayed his ribbons. Services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Rev. Cecil L. Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
