Mary E. Montano, 83, a lifelong resident of Bernalillo passed away on Saturday at a local hospital. Mrs. Montano is preceded in death by her mother, Abran Trujillo and three son's, Sammy, Rudy, and Joseph. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Montano; and one son, Oswald Gonzales. Also surviving are one brother, Celez; one sister, Marie Padilla; a god child, Sylvia Griego; seven grandchildren, Henry Gonzales, Corina Gonzales, David Gonzales, Nadine Gonzales, Joey Lopez, Rudy Gonzales Jr., Paul Gonzales, and extended family members, Vincent Sena, Geraldine Sena, Heather Sena and Samual Sena. Mary enjoyed working in her garden. Visitations will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. also at the Church. Pallbearers will be Jesse James Casuas, Tony Lucero, Joey Lopez, Bobby Quiroz, Rudy Casuas, Joshua Quiroz. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Apodaca, Eddie Jaramillo, and Vincent Rodriguez.
