Obituary for Abeyta

Mrs. Estella G. Abeyta, 90, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family. Mrs. Abeyta was the beloved mother of five daughters, Frances Padilla, Dorothy Abeyta, Mary Montoya and husband, Rudy, Nellie Padilla and Victoria Sierra and John Sr.; one son, Triny Montoya and wife, Ramona. She is also survived by her brother, Severo Gonzalez and wife, Betty; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Abeyta was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Roberto Montoya and Margie Ulibarri, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta with final viewing at the church after 8:30 a.m. Father Albert Gallegos, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Chavez Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Sierra Jr., Robert Montoya, John Sierra Sr., Leroy Padilla, Aaron Padilla, James Gallegos and honorary will be Kenneth Rivera. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
