Johnnie L. Pena, 79, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Thursday, August 24, 2000. Mr. Pena was born in Nacgodoches, TX on February 23, 1921. Mr. Pena is survived by Julia Pena, his wife of 57 years; three daughters, Christina Courville of Cecilia, LA, Veronica Haschke of Victorville, CA, and Anita Pena; two grandsons, Michael Courville and Jason Haschke; one brother, Louis Pena of Nacgodoches; three sisters, Monica Paluck of Chicago, IL, Ann Tickle of Houston, TX and Sister Gertrude Pena of Houston, TX; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitation for the family will be Sunday, August 27th at 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Sons Mortuary located at 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 28th at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe at 1:30 p.m.
