Georginna, 89, a retired resident of Rio Rancho since 1972, passed away August 24, 2000 at Las Palomas Nursing and Rehabilitation Home. Georginna has been at the nursing home since February 1998. She was born October 21, 1911 in Ackin, S.C. to James and Nealie Neals. At a young age the family moved to Manhasset Long Island, NY. She attended Elementary Christian School and graduated from Manhasset High School. After WWII she married the late John W. Lattta from Jamaica Long Island, NY. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Major Andrew Branch, Ret. of El Paso, TX; daughters, Dr. Ruby Sumner of New Rochelle, NY, and Mrs. Elma Phifer of Hunnington, NY; grandson, Mr. Daimon Sumner of Rio Rancho, NM; most cherished family friends, Phil, Martha and Trent Day of Albuquerque, NM; cousins, Catherine Weaver of Philadelphia, PA, Ann B. Jenkins, Frances Ruth Hart, Herman Mosley, Charles Mosley and Richmond Mosley, all of Ackin, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends throughout the United States. Services will be held at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 9:30 a.m. Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Brent Lenetine of Gospel Light and Rev.
