Carmelita R. Sandoval, 85, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2000. Ms. Sandoval is survived by her daughter, Lucy Lopez and husband, Clemente of Rio Rancho; son, Allen D. Sandoval; grandchildren, Leslie, Harold, Ivan, Renne and Clemente Jr.; great-grandchildren, Timothy, Delilah and Eloy; and great-great-granddaughter, Alexis, Carmelita was a loving mother to everyone who came around and will be remembered for all the great food she prepared as she was an excellent cook. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, with Father Virgil Furfaro, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Hillcrest Funeral Home 225 San Mateo NE 265-5959
