Obituary for Halliburton

Leo (DEAN) Halliburton, 70, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2000. He was born in Dexter, New Mexico and spent most of his youth and young adult life in Hobbs, New Mexico. He lived with his wife and children in the Gallup and Thoreau area before moving and retiring from the Enron Corporation (Transwestern Pipeline) in Belen. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane and five children, Deana Bates of Abilene, TX, Richard and Roselyn Halliburton of Hobbs, NM, Gary and Cheryl Halliburton of Aztec, NM, Robert and Michelle Stearns of Gallup, NM, and Stephanie and Edward Baca of Albuquerque. He was also blessed with eight grandchildren, Carey Boozer and Jennifer Bontke, Brian, Valerie and Suzanne Halliburton, Aaron Halliburton, Wade and Clay Stearns. Memorial Services will be held at Tierra Del Sol Country Club, 1000 Golf Course Rd, Belen, NM at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2000. Cremation has taken place.
