Noretta I. White, 85, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at Sunbridge West Mesa Healthcare Center in Albuquerque. She was born February 18, 1915 in Pontiac, Illinois to parents, Les and Nora Sutton. She was raised and lived in Springfield, IL. She married Edward M. White in 1936 and they lived in Springfield, IL until 1977. They moved to Albuquerque in 1977. she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. White; and sisters, Evelyn Sutton and Dorles Smorzewski. She is survived by one son, Les White and wife, Shirley; one sister, Leslie Jane O'Neal, all of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2000, 11:00 a.m., at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro NE. Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
