Obituary for Berger

B. Irene Berger, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, died Sunday, August 13, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Evangeline J. O¯Brien of Tijeras; son, John Berger and wife, Marilyn of Albuquerque; grandsons, Gene W. Boley and wife, Ann of Rio Rancho, John D. Berger, Jr. and wife, Rachelle of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Patricia Page and husband, Richard of Cedar Crest, Cheryl M. Tucker de Padilla and husband, Patrick of Tijeras, Debby Stephens and husband, Darrell of Texas; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel Winslow Edwards in 1949 and John Fremont Berger in 1965; and son, Daniel W. Edwards, Jr. Mrs. Berger was born in New Hampshire. After moving to Albuquerque, she began working for Sandia Corporation where she retired in 1979 as a research and development electronics technician. After retirement, Mrs. Berger enjoyed bowling, dancing and playing bridge. More than anything she loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and interment of cremains has been held at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 27, 2000, 3:30 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
