Stephanie G. Houston, 28, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2000. She was born June 4, 1971 to William J. and Joyce Fisher Houston in Deming. She was a resident of Socorro for most of her life and she was the manager of Texaco Food Mart and Shell Food Mart in Socorro. She is survived by her parents, William Houston and Joyce Fisher, both of Socorro; son, Jonathon Houston of Socorro; brother, William B. Houston of Socorro; sisters, Vickie Sparman of T or C, Cyrstal Caldarella and husband, Robert of Las Cruces, Jolene Newby of Socorro and Kimberly Houston of Belen; and other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, March 2, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 3, 10:00 a.m., at the Family Christian Center, Hwy 60 and Fowler, Socorro, with Rev. A.G. Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Socorro Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ray Hobbs, Daniel Padilla, Selfred Baca, Jessie Salas, Nathan Spurgin and Sally Padilla.
