Shirley McKernon Bune, 71, born January 17, 1929, passed away July 4, 2000 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by parents, Iva and William McKernon; and brother, Alexander Edward McKernon. She is survived by husband, Melbern J. Deerman; children, Bary J. Bune of Van Buren, AK, David Bune of Albuquerque, Jerry C. Bune of Pueblo, CO, Cindy Bune of Edgewood, NM, Janet S. Havens of Edgewood; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; niece, Matilda Gridley of Hawaii; other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Private Memorial services were held.
