Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday June 28, 2000

Dixie Ann Clark Hall joined her beloved husband, Jeremiah E. Hall, M.D., Monday, June 26, 2000. Dixie spent 44 years here in Albuquerque from 1957 to 1999 before moving to Houston, Texas. She had moved to Albuquerque from Omaha, Nebraska in 1957 with her husband. Dixie is survived by her three daughters, Jereann Hall Chaney, Noela Hall Pena and Stephanie Hall Withers. She is also survived by her three granddaughters, Neva Tere Pena, Michaella Noel Pena and Holland Ann Chaney. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory, Mrs. Jeremiah E. Hall, to Creighton University School of Medicine, 2500 California Plaza, Omaha, Nebraska 68178. Mother carried the following passage from Adam Bede, by George Eliot, close to her heart."What greater thing is there for two human souls, than to feel that they are joined for life-to strengthen each other in all labor, to rest on each other in all sorrow, to minister to each other in all pain, to be one with each other in silent unspeakable memories at the moment of the last parting."
