Jane E. Krahling, age 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Thursday morning, November 9, 2000 at her home in Albuquerque where she has lived for 48 years. Jane was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she married Ernst Krahling in 1940. Jane and Ernie moved to Albuquerque in 1951. Jane's most treasured passion was always her friends and family and her incredible love for children. She was ever the gracious lady. Her quick wit, astute sense of fairness, warm personality and smile endeared her to all she met. She will be held dear in the hearts and minds of those that knew her and deeply missed by those who loved her. She is survived by her son, Chris and his wife, Kathy of Sandia Park, NM; her granddaughter Tanya Garrison and her husband, Darin of Houston, Texas; and by her grandson, Scott. She is preceded in death by Ernie who passed away in 1990. At Jane's request there will be no funeral services and the family is requesting that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to KNME-TV in memory of Jane Krahling, 1130 University Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 or to the public television network of your choice.
