Mrs. Elizabeth C. Chavez, 44, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 14, 2000. Elizabeth is the beloved wife of 26 years to Michael T. Chavez. She is also survived by two sons, Michael T. Chavez Jr. and Kenneth Chavez; one daughter, Reanna Chavez; five grandchildren, Samantha, Cassandra, L.A., Dominic and Felicia; five sisters, Edna Martinez, Beatrice Soto and husband, Oliver, Maryland Otero and husband, Tony, Priscilla Maestas and husband, David and Lupe Romero; four brothers, Alfonso Romero, Frank Romero and wife, Elsie, Kenneth Romero and Valentino Romero and wife, Frances; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Elizabeth was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, Thursday morning after 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. Priscilla Maestas, will recite the rosary. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of the arrangements.
