MaryRuth Gilbert Wright, 83, a former resident of Los Lunas, died Friday, November 3, 2000. She is survived by her son, Ted B. Gilbert and wife, Sandra of Osceola, IN; granddaughters, Celeste D. Gilbert of Morrison, CO, Suzy-Lyn B. Sanchez and husband, Reuben of Los Lunas, Heather J. Gilbert and Heidi G. Gilbert-Douglass and husband, Michael, all of Osceola, IN; grandson, Benjamin J. Gilbert and wife, Mindy of Osceola, IN; step-granddaughter, Ashley; great-grandson, Daniel Douglass, both of Osceola, IN; brother, Niel L. Settle and wife, Mary of Santa Fe Springs, CA; and sister, Eleanor Settle of Los Lunas. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. James W. Gilbert; second husband, Andrew Wright; and daughter, Suzanne Gilbert Brown. She was a member of Baptist Church Planters Missionary Church, General Association of Regular Baptist Churches. Mrs. Wright supported the Youth Organization at the Cedar Road Missionary Church, Osceola, IN; and supported the new Christian Duo Musical Praises at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Belen. Services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Bert Singletary officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Gilbert, Walter Gallegos, Scott Purto, Rev. Felix Garcia, Rev. Dr. Barry Settle and Reuben Sanchez, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Dr. Fred Gilliard and Richard D. Brown. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church for Musical Praises, 1642 Hansen, Belen, NM, 87002.
