Bettie Jean Fowler Nicholson, 68, an Albuquerque resident since 1991, died Sunday, October 8, 2000. Mrs. Nicholson was a retired registered nurse. She was a member of VFW Post #401 Auxiliary. Her husband, Billy Nicholson, preceded her in death in 1991. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 16, 2000, 9:00 a.m., at Holy Child Catholic Church, Carnuel Mission in Carnuel, NM. Her cremated remains will be interred with her husband at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday at 12:30 p.m. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
