Obituary for Marquez

Donaciano (Chino) Marquez went to be with our Lord on Friday October 13, 2000. He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred M. Marquez; a daughter, Evelyn Garcia and husband, Richard; three sons; Ralph Marquez and girlfriend, Cathy, Leo Marquez, and Richard Marquez. Also surviving are grandchildren, Thresea Marquez, Richard Marquez and wife, Barbara, Brenda Luna and husband, Russell, Randy Garcia, Jeanette Marquez, Roxanne Marquez, Crystal Marquez, Mark Martinez, Chris Gallegos and wife, Liz, Angela Marquez, Ralphie Marquez, and Richy Marquez; one sister, Monica Saiz and husband, Daniel; and three brothers, Willie Marquez, Rosenaldo Marquez, and Ernest Marquez; nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Donaciano served in the Army during World War II, and was a Purple Heart recipient, he loved working in his garden. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. Pallbearers will be Daniel Saiz, Gabby Maestas, Chris Gallegos, Claud Tafoya, Eddie Nevirez, and Richard Marquez. Honorary Pallbearers are Russell Luna, and Mark Martinez. Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. this afternoon at Alameda Mortuary, a Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be recited on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. also at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
