Hazel I. Gibson, 97, a resident of Albuquerque since 1965, died Thursday, October 12, 2000. She is survived by her grandchildren, Marc Gibson of Moriarty, Brett Gibson of Lees Summit, MO and Cheryl Hook of Blue Springs, MO: two great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Carol Gibson of Albuquerque; nephew and niece, Eugene and Rosalee Freehauf of Ontario, CA; a grand nephew of California; and grand niece of Colorado. Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gibson; and son, William Gibson. She was born on August 9, 1903 in Rochester, NY. Cremation has taken place and memorial nicheside services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
