Mable A. Stephens of Fredonia, Kansas, died June 6, 2000 at 97 years of age. Survivors include three sons in Kansas and two daughters, G. Jeanneen Underwood of Gallup and Julia A. Stephens of Albuquerque and several grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services will be held June 10, 2000 at Fredonia. Memorials have been established in her name with First United Methodist Church and Fredonia Regional Health Care Foundation and may be sent to Timmons Funeral Home, PO Box 168, Fredonia, KS 66736.
