DennisSonny Montoya, 62, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, June 5, 2000. He was born and raised in Martineztown, and had lived in California for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Chang; sons, Paul Montoya, Dennis Montoya and wife, Diwata Montoya with two children, Tammy Allen and Paulina Montoya; the mother of his children, Linda Montoya; sisters, Irene Duran, Rosalie Saenz and Dolly Herrera; brother, Ernest Pablo Montoya; uncle, Pablo Martinez; aunt, Josephine Schnoor; and many nieces and nephews. His son's called him Tata. Mr. Montoya was Vice President of Sunwest Silver Company. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at North Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4001 12th St. NW. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Pastor Joe Avila officiating. Pallbearers will be David Herrera, Pablo Montoya, Anthony Griego, Anthony Saenz, David Lopez, and Christopher Gurule. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Montoya, Adrian Sanchez, Timothy Saenz, and Tammy Allen. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
