Leonard W. Leeke, a resident of Albuquerque since 1992, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2000. He was born in Detroit, MI, June 12, 1913. Mr. Leeke was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Leeke in July of 1991; and by his son, Lyle Leeke in 1990. Survivors include his grandson, William Leeke and wife, Heather of Chicago, IL; his daughter-in-law, Miriam Leeke of Montague, MI; his sister, Dorothy Berry of Albuquerque; nephews, Donald Berry and wife, Diane of Albuquerque and William Berry Calabasas, CA; and many friends. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Sandia Presbyterian Church. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo del Norte NE, with Reverend Dewey Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the church or to a charity of choice. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mr. Leeke, (891-8200).
