Obituary for Kee

Wilson Lynn Kee, 57, a resident of Los Alamos, passed away at home on Sunday, January 9, 2000, following a brief illness. He was born August 26, 1942, in Rockford, Illinois. Bill graduated from Los Alamos High School in 1960, served in the military and graduated from Pointe Park College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He returned to Los Alamos in 1985 and at the time of his death was an investigator with USIS. Bill was an active member and past president of the Los Alamos Civitans and a supporter of Rainbow for Girls and Boys Scouts, and Girl Scouts of America. He is survived by his wife, Betty; his beloved children, Robert and Elizabeth; father, Robert Kee; sister, Ginger Hayes; and mother-in-law, Velma Boutotte; as well as his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John Boutotte and Linda Mayhan; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Kee; and his nephew, Charles Hayes. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m., Thursday, January 13, 2000, at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at the Masonic Lodge, 431 Paseo de Peralta, in Santa Fe. The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Los Alamos Civitans.
