Isabel Mercado, 56, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 4, 2000. Mrs. Mercado was a resident of Santa Ana, CA and was employed with Eaton Corporation for 33 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramiro V. and Rita G. Rodriguez. Mrs. Mercado is survived by her loving daughter, Rita Mercado-Zambrano and son-in-law, Michael A. of Albuquerque; her granddaughter, Maya Isabel Zambrano; one brother, Ramiro G. Rodriguez and wife, Victoria of Schertz, TX; two sisters, Celia Cantu and Soledad Alejandre, both of Santa Ana, CA. Also surviving are seven nieces; six nephews; and 28 grandnieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated this afternoon, 4:00 p.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW, 243-5222.
