SFC Charles Allen Cromeans (US Army Ret.), 66, died Saturday January 1, 2000 at the VA Hospital in Albuquerque, surrounded by his family. A veteran of the Korean War and two tours of duty in Vietnam, Sgt. Cromeans was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He is preceded in death by his parents and younger brothers. He is survived by his children, Linda, Jacqueline, Michael, and Melodie; three grandchildren, Rebecca, Travis and Bailey; and by his ex-wife and friend, Hercilia. A Memorial Service and interment of cremains will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, Friday, January 7, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo NE.
