Frederick Byer, 53, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Wednesday, January 5, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Connie R. Byer; sons, Kris E. Byer and Frederick Byer Jr., all of Los Lunas; daughters, Tanya Byer and Sanya Byer, both of Clovis; two brothers; four sisters; seven granddaughters; six grandsons; mother, Fern Buckley of Albuquerque; and many relatives and friends. Fred served in the United States Army for four years during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years as a journeyman plumber and most recently being employed by Locken General Contractors. Cremation has taken place and a family memorial service will be held at a later date.
