Obituary for O'toole

Patrick James O'Toole Colonel Retired U.S.A.F., 67, died unexpectedly Thursday, December 30, 1999, while enjoying his favorite activity. Patrick went on to many achievements, including graduating with a Bachelor of Science at Iona College in 1959. He began his career in the Air Force where he earned a Masters in Astro Space Physics. In 1962, he married his"eternal love", Joyce Ann with whom he was married to for 34 years. He retired from Hanscom Air Force Base after 26 years of service. His family relocated to Albuquerque, where he worked for BDM for five years. Pat"officially" retired from Northrop in 1944 to spend quality time with his wife and family. He was briefly separated from his wife by her death in 1996 and now he has been reunited with her. Pat is survived by his children, Kerri Myers, Kevin O'Toole, Terry O'Toole and LeeAnn McAdam; their spouses, Barry Myers, Lisa O'Toole, Pam O'Toole and Sandy McAdam and his grandchildren, Ryan, Dylan, Tyler, Megan, Riley and Chelsea. Pat is also survived by three brothers, Jack, Jim and Frank. Viewing services will be held Monday, January 3, 2000, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Strong-Thorne Mortuary with prayer services following the viewing at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2000, 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center - 1815 Las Lomas NE. Burial services will be Thursday, January 5, 2000 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal SE, in charge of arrangements.
