Jim Goodson LIFE REMEMBRANCE After a long illness bravely fought, Jim was welcomed home by our Lord on Jesus' birthday. Jim Allen Goodson, 44, died Saturday, December 25, 1999 at University Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born June 30, 1955 in Albuquerque, he loved the rugged New Mexico outdoors as well as traveling the back roads of the American West in his eighteen-wheeler. Known for always lending a helping hand and being a hard worker,"Slim" Jim could make you laugh and enjoyed old time country music, wood working, and cowboy poetry. He is survived by his daughters, Raylene Wall of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, Tana Statham of Sperry, OK; mother, Helen Goodson of Belen, NM; grandmother, Dora Goodson of Belen; brothers, Don Goodson of Norman, OK and Ken Goodson of Belen; three grandchildren, Tyler and Nicole Statham and Naomi Wall; and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd. NE in Albuquerque at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2000.
