Oleta F. Bishop, age 84, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1979 passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, December 25, 2002. Ms. Bishop was a member of Cristo Del Valle Presbyterian Church for over 20 years; she and her husband were members of the Oddfellows & Rebecca's since 1950. Ms. Bishop spent her former years in Lindrith, NM. Ms. Bishop was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Andrew Bishop; and three grandsons, Eugene Dale Baxter, Terrence Lee Baxter, and Gary Wayne Baxter. Her loving daughter, Glenda Baxter; six sisters; and one brother survive Ms. Bishop. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Cristo Del Valle Presbyterian Church 3907 Isleta Blvd SW, Albuquerque, NM. Services are pending. Strong-Thorne Mortuary are in charge of arrangements.
