Obituary for Valdez

Cippie R. Valdez, 74, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, she was born, raised and died in the home she loved, passed away on December 30, 2001. She is survived by one daughter, Jeanne Valdez-Villanueva and husband, Rudy of Albuquerque; one son, Michael Gabaldon of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren, Desiree Trujillo and husband, Jeremy, Robert Valdez Jr., Melissa and James Martin, Victoria Gonzales, and Tenika, Jasmin, Kayla and Noah Villanueva. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Valdez; a son, Robert Valdez Sr.; and a granddaughter, Angelica Valdez. She was loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking for her family. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NW. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, January 3, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Romero Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Trujillo Sr., Robert Trujillo Jr., Phillip and Danny Trujillo, Domingo Villanueva and Bruce Wheeler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ron and John Romero.
