Obituary for Gall

Rosana M. Gall, 81, a longtime resident of Rio Rancho passed away on Friday, December 28, 2001. Rosana was born October 9, 1920 the daughter of James and Mabel Martin in Lawrence, Kansas. She had been a Technical Librarian for an engineering company and had been a librarian at the Ohio Wesleyan University; State vice president for the League of Women Voters in NM; she was on the Board of Directors of the Albuquerque Symphony Orchestra; was very active in the Republican Party and had helped organize a very large Presidential rally for Richard M. Nixon that had a huge tournout; she was a recipient of the Republican Presidential Legion of Merit Award; formed the first Paradise Hills Branch library. Rosana is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert, of Rio Rancho; brother-in-law, Peter G. Gall III and his wife, Julie of Lousiville, KY; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Rosana will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2002 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Service will be on Friday, January 4, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho. Entombment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park.
