George J. Cisko, Sr., a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on December 28, 2001. George was born on January 2, 1928 to George and Agnes M. Patock Ciskowski in Chicago, IL. George moved to Rio Rancho 13 years ago from Warrenville, IL. He was a member of Meadowlark Senior Center and enjoyed being an instructor of Progressive Relaxation there. He was very fond of his gardening projects, liked photography and enjoyed painting. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. George is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Isabelle of Rio Rancho; his children, Gregory and wife, Sheila of St. Charles, IL., George Jr. and wife, Sue of Spring Grove, IL, and Karen Schroyer and husband, Jerald of DeKalb, IL; and six grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held for George at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2002 in the Chapel of Rio Rancho Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
