Obituary for Richardson

Robert L. Richardson, age 64, passed away December 29, 2001 in a local hospital following a long illness. He was born April 5, 1937 in Weymouth, Massachusetts to the late Earl and Edith (Fratus) Richardson. He is survived by one brother, Nathan Richardson of Albuquerque; one son, Robert L. and his wife, Belinda Richardson of Phoenix; three daughters, Vickie L. Richardson and her husband, Edward Schmidt of Albuquerque, Cathi L. Richardson of Albuquerque, Lori A. and her husband, Marty Thompson of Albuquerque; one nephew, Ronald Richardson; four grandchildren, Matthew, Kristina, David and Nicholas. Robert moved to Albuquerque with his family in 1954 and graduated from Albuquerque High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960 and continued with the New Mexico Air National Guard until 1962. He served as President of the Letter Carriers Assoc. in Huntington Beach, California in the late 1960's. With a passion for Law Enforcement, Robert then went into the security business until his retirement in 1999. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 4, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Linda Dyer will be officiating. The arrangements for Robert L.
