Obituary for Gasser

Robert J. Gasser, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, January 2, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Gasser of Albuquerque; daughter, Linda Kitterman and husband, David of Albuquerque; son, Greg Gasser and wife, Karen of Frankfort, IL; grandchildren, Alex Kitterman, Kyle Gasser and Nicholas Gasser; and sister, Betty Ober and husband, Carlon of Worcester, MA. Mr. Gasser served with the 8th Air Force during WWII and also the Korean War, flying B-17s. He was active with the Bear Canyon Senior Center and belonged to the Los Altos Golf Course. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 7, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel Avenue NE, with Father Antonio Mondragon, Celebrant. Interment of cremains will follow at 2:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
