Obituary for Peterson

Charles Randolph Peterson passed the morning of January 1, 2001 after a brief illness in Waco, TX. Pete was born on July 9, 1921 in Gustine, TX on his family's farm. He attended school in nearby Lamkin was stationed in Idaho with the Army Air Force during WWII. He and Jane Reives Peterson were married and started their family in Weatherford, TX. The electrical wholesale company Pete worked for brought the family first to El Paso and then to Albuquerque where he resided from 1958 to present. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane; parents, Charles Randolph Sr. and Betty Peterson; his brother, Randolph Peterson, and sister, Delma. Survivors are his wife, Nancy of Mart, TX where they also resided; sister, Floy of Gustine, TX; daughter, Jo Spencer of Boise, ID; sons, Chuck, Gary, and Theron of Albuquerque; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter. A Memorial Service officiated by the Very Reverend John Haverland will be held at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral Thursday, January 10, 2002 at 10:00 a.m.
