Obituary for Carter

Kay Carter, 49, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, January 7, 2002. She is survived by her son, Cary Brock Carter of Albuquerque; mother, Gwendolyn Mauldin of Albuquerque; twin sister, Kim Hahn and her husband, Larry Hahn of Albuquerque; brother, Kris Mauldin of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, James A. Mauldin in May 2001. Kay graduated from Highland High School in 1970. She was employed by AT&T until her son, Cary was born. At that time she devoted her life to him. She was a beloved mother, daughter, and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Kay attended Hoffmantown Church. Services will be held Friday, January 11, 2002, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to El Ranchito de Los Ninos, P.O. Box 2400, Los Lunas, NM 87031.
