Obituary for Craig

Mary Jean Craig, 90, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2002. Mary was born August 14, 1911 the daughter of James Robert and Pearl Bynum Lyon in Vernon, Texas. She had been an antique dealer, longtime owner of M & M Antiques in the North Valley. Mary was a real pioneer woman, loved her family and was highly regarded by everyone who knew her. She loved gardening, the flea market, fishing, and her cabin in the woods. Mary is survived by her three children, Betty Grubesic and husband, Albert of Santa Fe, NM, Robert "Pete" Craig of Albuquerque, and Joe Craig and wife, Pamela of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren, Christina Barnett, Trisha Arrighetti, John Grubesic, Michael Craig, Kelly Craig, Dana Craig, Lonnie Craig, and Davin Craig; and special friends, Nancy Craig and Donna Winton. The Service for Mary will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln.,Rio Rancho, with Rev. Ron Komatz of the Bernalillo United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho, 892-9920.
