Alcantarita (Canti), 83, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died January 12, 2002 at her home with her son at her side. She is survived by her son, Chris Carrillo; daughter, Frances Aragon; two brothers, Victor Lucero and Eddie Lucero; two sisters, Sally Hawyard and Katie Torres; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, Janaury 13, 2002. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2002, with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW.
