Obituary for Cannon

Burley James Cannon Sr. was taken to be with our Lord on January 10, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Sena Cannon of 37 years, one daughter, Desiree Cannon Warfield and husband, Mark; one son, Burley James Cannon II and his wife, Cindi; one granddaughter, Joni Marie Warfield and two grandsons, William Lee Warfield and Burley James Cannon III, all of Albuquerque. Burley is also survived by two sisters, Burline Cannon Gallegos and husband, Chris of Alamogordo, NM and Theresa Cray of Peralta, NM; two brothers, Ronald Telles and wife, Pat of Alamogordo, NM and Benny Telles of Pea Ridge, AR. Burley was an active member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church. He was born July 11, 1941 in Jemez Springs, NM and resided in Albuquerque for the past 37 years. For the past 23 years he and his family have owned/operated Design Silk Screen Printers in Albuquerque. Burley was very proud of his family especially his grandchildren. He was proud of his heritage and will be missed by all. Friends may visit French Mortuary Westside Chapel (3 blocks North of Paseo Del Norte) on Sunday, January 13, 2002 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Service will be held Monday, January 14, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church, 5331 Montaño Rd. NW with Pastor Micheal Dickenson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Greg Byus, Jose Padilla, Fred Salais, Willie Barela, Anthony Gomez and Lee Frazee. Honorary Pallbearers are Henry Sena, Kelly Cannon, Doyle Cannon, Wesley Cannon, Donald Cannon, Harmon Cannon, Billy Cannon, Josh Cannon and Lindy Cannon.
