Gloria Padilla-Salsberry "Chica", an Albuquerque resident, passed away on January 19, 2002. She was born July 10, 1949. Gloria leaves two daughters, Carmen McLaughlin and her family, husband, Robert, and granddaughter, Jade; and Jacolyn Suzette Sanchez all of Albuquerque; partner, Donald Smith of Maxwell, NM; Father to Jackie and Carmen, Orlando Sanchez of Santa Fe; mother, Sofia Garcia of Springer, NM; brother, Benjamin"Ben" Padilla and his family, wife, Verenise, Ben Jr., Sofia, Milagro and Carinio all of Albuquerque; sister, Dolores Padilla and family, Melissa, Isaac, Angel and Taona and family, husband, Rick, and children, Melissa and Andrew Enriquez all of Albuquerque; sister, Rita Garcia and family, Robert, Steven and Stephanie Vigil of Las Vegas; brother, Augustine"Andy" Garcia and family, Shauna, Aaron and Andrew Garcia of Springer, NM; sister, Elizabeth Garcia and family, Tony and Angelo Arellano, Evelyn Nguyen, Angelo Jr. and Alexis Arellano of Springer, NM; sister, Christine Garcia and family, Alexia Garcia, Matthew Spencer of Springer, NM; sister, Martha Garcia of Springer; sister, Carla Garcia and family, James Esquibel, Marcus and Jamison Garcia of Springer; and sister, Micah Garcia of Springer. Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Joe B. Padilla; and stepfather, Crestino Garcia. Services will be held on January 23, 2002, 3:30 p.m. at Wagonmound High School Gym, in Wagonmound, NM, E. F. Culley or R. Barela officiating.
