Helen "Pat" Counts, age 79, a lifelong resident of New Mexico died February 10, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Sidney A. Counts of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Darlah Yancey and husband, Henry"Hank" of Albuquerque, NM, Donna M. Cummings and husband, Phil of Pink Hill, NC; son, David M. Counts and wife, Loretta of Albuquerque, NM; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, February 14, 2002 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Friday, February 15, 2002 from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2002 at the Central United Methodist Church 1615 Copper Ave NE. Burial will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens; Pallbearers will be Brandon Cummings, Joel Yancey, David Counts Jr., Sid Counts, Jeremy Gatewood and Hank Yancey. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
