Marie N. Schuette Brennecke passed away on Monday, February 11, 2002. Marie was born January 23, 1909 in Jackson, MO. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Frances (Frankie) Clark and husband, Edward, of Albuquerque; granddaughter Catherine Stampe and husband, Anthony, of Grand Junction, CO; grandson, James Clark and wife, Carrie, of Houston, TX; and great-grandchildren, Amy Stampe of Grand Junction, CO, and Erica and Alex Clark of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo. After moving to Albuquerque from St. Louis, MO, in 1989, Marie was very active with the Bear Canyon Senior Center quilters. She made many beautiful quilts that are cherished by family members. Marie was a member of St. Stephens United Methodist Church. Cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date in Cape Girardeau, MO.
