Tony Manuel Herrera, Jr., 57, a lifetime resident of Manzano, NM, passed away Friday, February 22, 2002. He was born to Antonio B. Herrera Sr. and Manuelita (Greigo) Herrera, April 11, 1944 in Mountainair, NM. He is survived by his mother, Manuelita Herrera of Manzano, NM; his son, Armando Herrera of Mountainair, NM; his daughters, Anna Daniella Herrera, Lucha Herrera, Mariaelena Herrera all of Mountainair, NM; his brothers, Augustine Herrera, Ignacio Herrera and his wife, Francis of Albuquerque, NM, Eddie Herrera, and his wife, Layola of Estancia, Arturo Herrera, Leroy Herrera; his sisters, Tillie Herrera-Brummell, Isabel Sanchez and her husband, Carlos of Albuquerque, Diana Apodaca and her husband, Mike of Highland, CA, Cecila Sanchez and her husband, Art E. of Bend, OR, Gloria Paez and her husband, Eppy; and his seven grandchildren, Dakoda Moorhead, Aasia Moorhead, Montana Moorhead, India Moorhead, Estevez Herrera, Estrella Herrera, Reyez Herrera. He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio B. Herrera Sr.; and his brotherm Robert Herrera. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, February 25, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the church. A Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Nuestra Senora de los Dolores in Manzano, NM with Father Florian Renaud, officiating. Burial will follow at Manzano Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Armando Herrera, Mariailena Herrera, Los Hermanos Herrera, Eppy Paez, Esequiel Quintana, Charles Sanchez, Anthony Herrera, Pat Brummell, Danny Brummell, Daniel Apodaca, Solis Herrera, Eddie Padilla, Rick Padilla, Ramal Moorhead. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dakoda J. Moorhead, Aasia Mariee Moorhead, Montana Rio Moorhead, India Simon Moorhead, Estevez Lee Herrera, Estrella Perea-Herrera, Reyez Cruz Herrera. Arrangements were entrusted to Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM.
