Espiridion J. Garcia, 73, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque died Friday, February 22, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Virginia of the family home; children, Kathy M. Garcia, Dolores Tarango, Victor Garcia, Rosemary Garcia and Margaret Garcia; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Garcia was a member of the catholic church. He retired from P.N.M. with 40 years of service. He will always be remembered for his love of gardening. Mr. Garcia's family was one of the original residents of the Atrisco Area, dating back to the 1800¯s. Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr., SW with Deacon Lorenzo Castillo, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Fr. Viera, Celebrant. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Valente Garcia, Lorenzo Garcia, Samuel Garcia, Eziquel Garcia, Alberto Tarango, Gabriel Tarango and Fernando Tarango.
