Agueda R. Huie, 89, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away at Alta Vista Regional Hospital on October 22, 2004. She was born on January 19, 1915 to Josefita Baca and Donato Rivera, who precede her in death. Also preceded in death by her husband, San Huie; her twin sister, Eulalia Cliggett; and brother-in-law, George C. Cliggett; sister-in-law, Margaret Rivera. Agueda is survived by her daughter, Juanita H. Fuller and husband, Mike; sons, Tom Huie and wife, Anna and Louis Huie and wife, Jan; grandchildren: Tomasina Huie, Robert Huie and wife, Michelle, and Jonathan J. Huie. Rosary services were recited on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM. Father C. John Brasher will celebrate a Memorial Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2004, also at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Interment of cremains will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. also on Wednesday, October 27.
