Obituary for Espinosa

Luis G. Espinosa, "Uncle Al", died March 1, 2002 at the age of 95. He was born January 2, 1907 in Albuquerque, to Celso and Rafelita Espinosa. He was the youngest of fourteen children born to a prominent New Mexico family. He attended St. Mary's Grade School, Albuquerque High School, and the University of New Mexico. Luis had an interesting and varied business career that took him from New Mexico to Washington, D.C. to Hawaii and Mexico. He retired from the U.S. Forest Service at the age of 90. He is survived by his nieces, Catherine E. Rugen and Margaret E. McDonald as well as 29 other nieces and nephews and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at Immaculate Conception Church at 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon.
