January 10, 1921 - February 14, 2002. Billy T. Carrejo, 81, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2002 in Albuquerque. He was born January 10, 1921 to Ambrosio and Piedad Trujillo Carrejo in Magdalena, NM. He was a lifelong resident of Apache Creek, NM. He was a Veteran of WWII and a rancher in the Apache Creek area. He is survived by his wife, Paulita Trujillo Carrejo of their home; sons, Andy of Apache Creek and Patricio of Socorro, NM; daughters, Vicky Haynes of Ojo Caliente, NM and Agnes Peterson of Tijeras, NM; sisters, Emma Jiron and Nellie Carmen both of Albuquerque and Josie Diaz of Safford, AZ; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends. A Rosary was recited on February 15, 2002 at the Santo Nino Catholic Church in Aragon, NM. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, February 16, 2002 at Santo Nino Catholic Church. Pallbearers were his grandsons, Mike Carrejo, Randy Haynes, Demetrio Haynes, Diego Munoz, Erik Munoz and Antonio Carrejo. Cremation arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, Socorro, NM.
